gay, no speakers on this comp so I can't listen to any of their songs, forgot how they sounded like :s

PATD did the whole... very teeny pop-punk with a vintage feel to it. Then they release Pretty. Odd. & their whole image is more sophisticated, soft and very different to what they first did. The darkness is a bit more disguised than the first album, which was totally intense lol.

Well yeah either that or you just accept that sometimes bands experiment a bit and don't cry about it Blink182 changed in their later years to a more mellow and serious sound, Black Sabbath have had literally like at least 10 singers, Madonna changes dramatically with every new album... and so on for lots of popular artists. People don't whine about them so much, I do think it's just more to do with metal fans or whatever Paramore and bands like them want to be - the type of person who is a fan is usually the type of person who's committed to trying to be oh-so-unique, which to me is more annoying than following all the crowds haha

Yeah it's usually rock bands who are the ones who get criticsed for changing their sound and experimenting, but bands who are getting established have the chance to get a huge fanbase, and they go for it. It worked for Fallout boy, but people ***** about how they've 'sold themselves out'. >_>

FJ, I agree with you on that sooooo much. But some bands do have bad albums, its like Panic at the Disco, they completely changed their style. They didn't sell out or anything, they just wanted to adapt to something new. Loads of people ripped them for it, but it's a pretty nice change to the usual rock you get. The 'long time followers' of PATD start ******** about how the new stuff is crap, and it's getting all the mainstream lovers liking it.

If you like a band, don't you support it through and through?
