Do You Use Gel Or Wax?

I use gel but only brylcream the 4 star hold one because the others make your hair go white when rubbed, or it doesn't hold properly.

omg it's so annoying cos if I use wax my hair goes proper fluffy within 4-5 hours and i look ridiculous so I have to use gel as much as I don't like the wet look. I just like the shiny wax look but it's a no can do.. suggestions? Also with wax, i rub it right into my hands then go to put it in my hair but it just all sticks in one place cos it's so hard... suggestions again?
