Why not support a team in the A1 League in Australia? I've heard it's really good this season.
So does football if you follow it.
Why is this just Manchester United? A succesful football club needs a good following, and with glory obviously attracts people to support them from a young age which i am not agaisnst as teams will never stay the most sucessful over a very long period of time. The problem i have is when people who change team due to the amount of success and the people who cannot get to games (which does not make them a glory supporter for a number of reasons e.g travel problems money problem,) but will not make any attempt to follow the team. This goes to the people outside of Manchester (which most of them are). Well, basically football is pride for your town/city, and if you support them then your basically supporting Manchester? And tbh Manchester is not really a great place...
So, if you want to be a real support support a team in your region to get pride, not glory.
Of course i follow them, but i was talking about the Premier League.
Not following Melbourne (even though soccer is not the main sport here in Melbourne) is like following the A-League if you are from the UK living in the UK.. stupid.
edit: its not the A1 league.. It is the Hyundai A League
