Is that an upgrade package to Windows 7?
EDIT: Only wandering as some packages of Vista say 'Upgrade' and some say 'Windows 7 Upgrade Offer' ~ So I am not sure?

Is that alot?
Also, people seem to be given mixed information on upgrading - does it actually have to be done on a clean install? Some places say there's an upgrade selection while some of the shops say "Note: Windows 7 needs to be done on a clean install" so it's very puzzling what to believe - thus why I'm holding out on whether or not to buy![]()
I told him to pre-order it while it was £50 but noooooooooooo he didn't listen!
And it's the retail edition. No upgrade crap.
So clean install it is? I'm too lazy to transfer crap to the external, especially when it was set up wrong![]()
I believe so. Even so, I wouldn't bother upgrading. It never goes well and there can always be complications
You did, but back then I would be the one paying for it, this time I'm getting it on the grounds of "testing applications and deployment in schools" so it made no odds to me
I always do a clean install, new OS, new install, I just redirect My Music, My Documents etc etc to folders on my second HDD anyway so no backing up for me... (way too lazy.).
I don't think I'll be going for any. Because when It's first released, there are always bugs and problems like with Windows Vista. So I'll probably wait a few years until It's more stable to upgrade. =D
