No you don't? It's not in the rules :/ So... Yeah, it's fine to talk about sex anywhere, anytime with anyone anyhow :/ And Habbo is for teens and Habbox is for teens, tis perfectly fine. Don't moan that Habbo don't allow sex talk, because they flail at many things and common sense is just one of them.
If you read the forum specific rules in the teens forums, you will see we do allow talk about sex...No you don't? It's not in the rules :/ So... Alex has most effectively explained what I was going to say. The rule is not going to be abolished. It is still against the rules to discussing things of a sexual nature and it is going to stay that way. Therefore you have two choices:The spirit of rule seems to be applied consistently, if not the letter of the rule. The thread you linked to that was closed was clearly asking for details and specifics about the act which are blatantly going to get graphic, whereas the other threads you linked to are talking about the act itself rather than the intricate details.
I don't know if I'm making sense to anyone but myself but hey
1) We get really harsh and don't even allow you to use the word "sex" so there are no grey areas;
2) We keep it as it is.
As it stands now, to talk about sex and sexual behaviour explicitly, or otherwise encourage or insinuate it, you will be punished. This is why the thread I closed was locked - it was encouraging a sexually explicit conversation. Mentor's threads, on the other hand, are not at all explicit although they are a little more on the mature side. However, seeing as they do not 'cross the line' we have decided to exercise some leniency which I am sure you will agree is preferable to absolute dictatorship.

Then why does the rule section of the page not have any mention of forum specific rules, other than at the bottom which is not going to get any sort of view? Surely a small note about them should mention this? Also, what is wrong with talking about sex in spam? It's a spam forum for a reason, and allowing sex in a specific teen forum (which has always kinda been pointless anyway) is just showing double standards, when the forum is available for everyone.
As I stated earlier, how the forum runs now is fine - there's been more freedom, which died out ages ago and only recently got revived.

My threads sit at the boundry of the rules, but are still keeping there toes within them. Check out the specific rules regarding those fourms and you'll see what i mean

Jordy: Whos talking about cutting ties? You dont have to dump one chunk of membership to cater for another, the much better option would be cater for both. Habbox so far has done quite well with this a number of significantly sized non habbo communities exist on the board: one of the largest being the webdesigns who have a number of forums just for themselves. The runescape in which many dont have ties to habbo
In addition to this the most important group for any forum, the core membership, those members whom are very active, most engaged with the forum and least likely to leave are not people who should be forgotten. Habbox has been around long enough that the age group of the core members is generally going up and this aint gonna stop.
Yes catering for the parts that pull more members in is important, but keeping the members who are already here is even more so. People are far less likely to join a dead forum than an active one after all
Catering for all groups is important if you want all groups on the forum. Most people want an active and large community so catering for all seems to be a pretty good policy :p
I am confused about that part of your post - are you referring to the FAQ?Then why does the rule section of the page not have any mention of forum specific rules, other than at the bottom which is not going to get any sort of view?
