Discussions should never ever ever be held in a thread like this. Particularly PC Vs Mac.

And I'd just like to note (especially for Professor-Alex) that I didn't start hating on Vista here. I posted in reply. Amazing, isn't it?
I use Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Mac OS X on a daily basis, on these grounds I have the right to say....

Sorry, but what an incredibly stupid thing to say :/ It IS a discussion - you should of closed the thread when the first reply was made, because a discussion started.

And use what OS suits your needs, you'll just get raped by opinion *glares at a certain someone*. So think of what you use and do more of, find the OS which kinda goes with that and you're done. Windows Vista/XP/7 for all round purpose built OS and OS/X for if you have alot of Apple stuff (design seems to be a main selling point, though all OS' seem to be good at this). Linux has different uses and looks to depend on how well you use and understand a computer, but don't quote me on that

    Fly away, troll.

I'm currently using OS X as my main OS for a while, might change in a few weeks depends on how I feel. I use Win 7 as well for gaming and doing whatever.

    I refuse to fly away!

I am quite content using Windows XP, or even Windows 7 on my Gateway laptop. But I mean, c'mon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a2zqRc1jvs when Bill Gates says he doesn't like Vista I think the world knows it's not good.

But hey, If you want to use it go right ahead. I think the forum knows I wont be using it, but if you've had good fortune with it then use it..

No, Vista was poorly polished at the beginning, unfortunately they didn't ship it with the current two service packs it has
