Please provide some evidence to back up your claim.
Topshop themselves say that size 0 is the same as size 4,
there's no line, just look at any size guide.
I also showed from net-a-porter, that size 6 is the same as size 2, meaning it isn't size 0.

Rodney: Oh leave off Grandad. I'd have to get done for chicken molesting to bring a slur on this family's name.

Top shop also lists size 6 as "31-24.5-33"

Now, you'll note seeing as size zero tends to be "31.5-24.5-34.5" This means that the size 6 topshop cloths are SMALLER than size zero Abercrombie ones.

This cannot be deniyed as anyone can look this up. sizes are posted also.

Now those shops can tell you size 0 is the same as a size 40 for all i care, you can tell if its true by taking the cloths and measuring them. Fact is, when measured size 6 and size zero match up.

Again, please post some Measurements from some other shops that differ. As so far everywhere ive checked has claimed what you say, looking at the measurements though its easy to see they are wrong. Basic maths and a tape measure makes this pretty obvious o.o

You know what? I really have no idea what else to say. I've said the same thing over and over, I don't really care if a UK size 6 can fit into both a 0 or a 2, most folk can squeeze. Maybe you're right, I've got no idea. I'd go by what shops tell me though.

Fair doos. I'm just saying the evidence is there so trusting what a shop says aint really necessary. If the petshop owner tells me dogs have 8 legs i'm not gonna take him on his word, i'll count the dogs legs myself.

Alot of retailers want to make size zero sound smaller than it really is due to its often negative image. Hence why shops in the uk pretend the size 6's aint so small, but in reality there even smaller Never trust someone who has an incentive to lie :p

Hm, I see your point. Maybe if they were to tell the truth though then, that these people are already size zero, they wouldn't do any more damage to themselves by trying to lose more weight (if that is what they're aiming for). Might encourage people to put on a bit of healthy weight. But judging by this thread, they'd then be considered quite fat

tbh it depends how you look at it. like im a size 6 in jeans, i can fit into size 4 but its abit tight. i'm 5ft 5 i think so i do kind of look strange but im healthy and everything so i dont see the problem, you cant see my ribs or anything. i think its only unhealthy when people are like seriously skinny, no meat on them at all and you can see ribs and everything, but apart from that as long as your healthy its fine imo.

Most fat people aren't happy, otherwise they wouldn't always be trying to lose weight.
"Im happy being this size but im still on a diet to lose a couple of pounds"
I don't like super skinny girls, i like curvy girls, not fat though. Big difference.
