If he's not the General Manager, he is not the General Manager. It's amazing how something so trivial and obvious has sparked so much discussion. Yes, he has done a lot for Habbox, but just like 8Freak8 who was kept as a member of management, should be removed eventually because he too played no major roles and had no roles to do with the community anymore. He's not coming back to full capacity (whatever that means) so why keep him as a "General Manager / On Extended Leave / Contact Sammeth - Acting GM"? It looks tacky and isn't useful :/

Hence the exclamation mark and '' face, I thought it was pretty obvious it wasn't a genuine comparison :rolleyes: I did originally put an even worse analogy. Also, if people realised that he'd done more for fansites than any other individual on the whole of Habbo then this thread wouldn't have been made and supported by those who don't regularly use Habbox or haven't been signed up for many years.

That's not even mentioning the fact it will make absolutely no difference to the running of Habbox. It's still the biggest fansite and will be for a while ~ it's hardly going to stop functioning because one person is pondering their role.

Ive been here for many years and have posted a lot and heres my view.

I dont like nvrspk, he might have done a lot but so have many people. I expect him to have done a lot if you are taking up such a large role. And as far as there will be absolutely no difference, well there might not be, but its also about proffessionalism. I dont think having a top staff member being inactive for ages looks brilliant.

I don't know how it looks tacky. It's not useful either way. It's making change for the sake of it and when he is who he is - it should remain. Just my two cents. If Jin takes the decision to remove him then I'm fully behind that too. I'm not concerned I just don't see how it benefits Hx when we already have a new GM who is doing well anyway.

You answered it yourself, we have a new GM. Why do we need someone listed as one when he isn't one? If he doesn't get in contact sooner, or does anything useful, get rid of him :/

I am sure Jin and Sierk will make a decision when they feel the time is right. Meanwhile the only difference is the word 'acting'. Sam has all the powers he needs to do the job.

If they are sure he isn't going to be back, then whats the point. Anyone actually know why he isn't here?

Matt is pretty much AGM hence he resigned as FM

Your right he has done alot but so have many other people. 8freak8 didn't get much recognition for what he had done and he just dwindled till he was finally removed of permisions. The same will happen to nvr so surely it's best to make a big thing of him leaving (as he was so great apparently) rather than "letting the candle burn out"

They aren't 'pretty much' - they are. Let nvrspk4 make his own decision when the time is right. Hx is doing just fine.

Give nvr AGM, give Sam GM and then let nvr take back the role of GM and Sam have the role of AGM again when he returns fully.
