Actually we're leaving tidy hosts because we have asked them fro cpanel many times and they continue to give us... about vhcs2 being more secure, our new host is cheaper which YES, it means our prices... wont be going down but what you get for your money will go up! (£2 a month is tiny come on, after paypal take their charge we're left with nothing)

You told me that you owned your own company for 3 years or something, im sure your company started small, im sure you didnt just one day appear at the top of the game with the best prices and best layouts... It takes time, we are new and we're still growing, this isnt just aimed at toxic but all of you who are so keen to insult before thinking about it

Actually i gained about 6 new clients in first day of opening it may not seem like many but in the first day its a hell of a lot. It took me about half a year to plan how i was going to run the company i didnt get up one day and buy a server. I spent a lot on advertising which took me over 3 months to make back, Im talking over $300 a month for some advertising (E.G www.cutephp.com). And yes it started small as in client amount but the site it self was gaining hundreds of hits a day at the end of the first few weeks of opening. I aimed the company at anyone who needed hosting not just habbo fans which is at the moment basically what you are doing. The advice im giving you should be taken in.

1) Make the layout standout of much as possible dont use a template and just go in paint and put you company name in the banner it sends people away as soon as they see it, People need to think you mean business and that you look as good as you say you are.

2) Theres millions of people that need hosting expand your advertising to as many people as possible dont just come on forums like this and expect to be noticed. Trust me paying for advertising will pay off eventually

3) Dont try and beat other companys too soon in the game when you first start its like giant VS ant you being the ant. You dont have a chance in hell in winning people from the bigger companys even by making your prices cheaper it dosnt help much maybe a few people who are short on cash but thats about it.

Thats about all i have to say. Im not going to say anymore about you or marshall hosting just think about the 3 points i have given.

Being a forum moderator, your suppose to be helpful - on most forums you are being a jerk by insuling peples work when they have tried.

Marshall hosting have tried as when you click order, they hav set the paypal and layout for the ordering up, but they do do thinks **** about face or the wrong way around, but still, thats not reason to insult them.

They have to charge these prices I would presume from the charges they have to pay already.

Yes, they do need advertiseing, but people find other ways to advertise that the annoying bill boards for example.

So would you take notice of something that has cost a lot of money to do in the way of advertiseing, like a bill board aimed at everyone and a wide, dull horison, or somebody personally asking alot of people and making it appeal to them.

Their sratagy is wrong, dont think that I do not agree with you, but haveing lots and lots of paid advetiseents isn't always best

After you have a temaplte, ask around to exchange banners or buttons on 100's of sites.

Some major sites now have a new site marketing stratorgy that culd really help you.

Nothing in my last post was insulting at all i was giving advice if you read it again you will see that each bit i wrote in the post is helpful if needed or not.
And dont refer to me as a jerk i speak the truth im not going to say something is good when it isnt if people post and ask how the site looks etc im going to tell them how >>I<< think it looks

Btw i have recently changed the deals & prices... you will need to look at the webhosting page as i have not updated the banners to the left... im on a new server which has caused a major problem.... ClientExec Will NOT work!! :s so does anyone know a good replacement, shoutcast should be back soon and hopefully i can get something in place of ClientExec because at the moment only cash transfers in paypal will work
