Ah, kinda like what they did with the iPad and WiFi networks where it refused to connect to a few brands and Apple blamed the company not their damn device?

If this is the UK, then it's no doubt just terrible signal full stop

    new visible design
    better design for signal inside
    digital zoom
    multi tasking
    gyroscope
    iAd incorporated
    microsim
    separated sound controls
    noise cancellation with mic #2
    complete redesign

    etc etc etc

i dont see how thats not a lot tbh, especially when other companies bring out phones, you dont moan at them for not changing anything.
I don't moan at other companies when they bring out new phones because most of them features you have listed are already on other devices. They have brough the iPhone closer to other phones now, at last. People wanted more though and not only the iPhone but other things from this keynote.

Nothing new really, just a faster processor. It's basically on par with other phones, now all they need is proper bluetooth. The day an iPhone can connect with the bluetooth devices in all/most cars is the day I die (of shock).

What does better signal inside mean? Have iPhones always been dreadful for signal :S
There has been reports the iPhone has a bad signal issue due to what its made out of. This is probably why they have done what they did with the aerial thing.

Edit: Some of these things Apple should of had from near the start, but I guess this is how Apple works and don't give what a device needs until the next one.

The WHOLE structure of the device has changed.

As for the signal the antenna isn't INSIDE the iPhone, it IS the iPhone. Thats why he made a big deal out of it. The steel casing functions as one great big antenna.

Seems like alot of effort, though I'm not sure it would have any major benefits, so is it really THAT big a deal? Other phones seem to cope quite well with the signal they get.

And the structure may have changed, but then again that means very little :/ It's an underwhelming event really, nothing "new" like with other iPhone releases, it just seems Android is now the OS and the phones it's installed on are what to look out for, for innovation :/

but you said you weren't moaning about the features, you said they havent changed much when in fact, they have. If you havent realised, Apple announced its first phone in 2007. Nokia, however, launched their first in 1992. that means that They have had a whopping 15 years extra to develop phone technology, as well as having the industries finest on their side. It has taken apple 3 years to get to roughly the same point, without any background in mobile technology. Ok, you might say that the technology is already their, but that's not how Apple does business. Actually, scrap that, that's not how any company does business. Why would you bring out something which has all the features first time round? If you can sell that a product which has limited specifications, and then those same people will buy the next product which has slightly more things on it, then why not? It's how business works.

I'm saying I'm not impressed of the new iPhone. I think basic things like camera and flash and what not should of been on the 1st/2nd iPhone at least. Yeah Nokia released their first in 1992, but Apple released there's in a world with advance technology. I suppose the device does look nice looking at the Apple website, but I feel there should of been something else.
