i think sleeves are tasty, a tonne of my friends have got them & i personally think they look awesome.

go for it man, people say about jobs yada yada, but the world's a changing place. i don't think people look down too harshly on tattoo's anymore, as long as they're tasteful.

Why should he worry about that now? He's like 17/18 I would imagine, who gives a **** what happens in 42 years time? If you seriously judge tattoos on that then you need to get out a little bit more.

I agree (I'm 19 btw). I really hate it when people use that in anti-tattoo arguments. When your my age, being 60 years old is a LOOONG way off.

think about it (i'm 19 too) when we're 60, think who else is gonna be 60. everyone's gonna have tattoo's and piercings, and probably be flying around on scooters.

Iv had an idea for my full sleeve for a year now, its meaning full and everything but im still going to wait until im about 21+ but thats me. Because its such a big thing id wait a while.
Get your design on paper, play around with it untill you really like it, leave it for a couple of months then come back to it. Change again then leave for another 4 months or so. Take a look and if you still like the idea and don't want to change it again, go for it. Thats what i do, aha.
I wouldn't wait too long though, people who say "wait till your older" make no sense. When is older? 30? And even then how do you know if thats the "right time" to get a tat. Why wait you whole life.
Also have you had a tattoo before? because jumping into getting a sleeve right away is a bad idea!

It doesn't really matter what other people say about the tattoo if you want it, you get it. Just make sure you really really want it. I'm 17 and i'm working on a sleeve now, i just have a forearm piece at the minute though.
