Precisely, unless you want to starve to lose wait but then again you will become ill =/

That's why there are so little Vegans that keep to their routine and you hardly see any.

I don't like the idea of animals put through suffering before they're slaughtered for meat, I eat chicken, some beef, and occasionally sausage. I would never eat lamb, purely because I can't help but think of how cute they are ='[ I eat beef mince, burgers and thats it really.. I'm fond of cows too "/ I don't think killing animals for food is wrong as such, although I'm not exactly a fan but when cows, chickens, pigs, etc are kept in filthy living conditions, force fed so they'll grow 3 times as fast, and even living in pain before they're killed as food.. i can't stand that thought =[

edit- no animal ought to suffer, especially if they don't have a life ahead of them anyway

If people dont eat meat because they don't like it or they don't like the thought of eating a dead animal then fair do's. But people who don't eat meat because they don't agree animals should be killed for food then I kinda see that differently because whether they eat it or not animals are still going to be killed for food.
What they don't eat is gonna be eaten anyway.

Actaully, that isn't true. If less meat is bought and more is wasted rather than being purchased by someone who doesn't eat meat because they feel it is wrong - then less packages meat will be made/processed in the future.

True, but vegetarians and vegans can always rely on protein powder and vitamin supplements rather than eating meat. You can actually be very healthy if you don't eat meat.

Personally, I believe that animals were put on this Earth for our needs. I don't think that they should be killed for sport, but I do think that it is fine to kill an animal for food. After all, if no animals were killed - we would have a major overload of animals due to rapid reproduction.
