This got voted down last year even though I thought it was cool, because people wanted to donate to help for heroes or whatever but get the NSPCC colour so they just made it so you picked the colour and the charity separately..

Also I think a small charity should be chosen to help children somewhere..

I think that one single charity should be decided on so they can get the biggest donation. I think maybe an elimination style? We could put up a poll and then whoever nominated a charity (say for example make a wish, GOSH, Cancer Research) can sort of like, give their reasons as to why they chose it then the rest of the forum can choose which one they want.

By the way guys can you make a seperate feedback thread for this sort of thing, it will make it difficult to count if you go off on a tangent mid-thread.

My mistake, last time the top five were chosen, not the top three. Every charity minus Oxfam received quite a substantial amount.

I definitely agree with the cancer research one - but also, this is a different one I've not seen before:

    The Missing People Charity
Just think, you wake up one morning to find your child isn't there anymore.
You wake up to find your Mum has gone?

You try to call them and get no answer, you can't find them - you launch campaigns, you can't find them.

It comes to Christmas and that one person you want to spent your Christmas with, you can't.

Think about a Christmas without your parents? Your child? not nice.

I think at Christmas we should think about those that may not be as lucky as us to be able to sit at the dining table with our families and share a special day - every Christmas is a sinister reminder to those families that members of their family aren't there for the festivities and to share the joy.

oh I agree with Myke's one about the missing people charity.
It makes a very good point, we all do forget how lucky we are at christmas.
