I can understand the disappointment tbh. Regardless of how long v6 has actually took (October), there was 'unofficial' talk of it long before that so after all that wait, I imagine people were always going to be disappointed with all the hype surrounding it. As it's only a beta release, there's much more to come (I'm particularly excited bout something... and no stop being dirty minded... and its not about comps either!). I love the Habbox Today thing especially the competitions graphic, about time I was recognised as King.

short version: I can understand disappointment with all the hype but don't be just yet cos this is just a beta!

At the end of the day, it's Version 1 beta, all the features have to be added and there is no need for the moaning about what you can and can't do because really if you have a major problem, post in the V6 Bug Tracker forum.

I also think there could be a stuck thread in this Forum that could be for ideas about V6 or whatever

I like it tbh. There are a few bits that are needing some work but except from that its good. I liked both rv, old and new. Well done gm's!

Why can't you reset your password? For some reason it says the password I'm entering is incorrect when I know what it was and I had to enter it twice...

Edit: nevermind but now it says I need to update my password and I'm entering one with more than 8 characters, a capital and a number but it still says not suitable.

In response to everything about RV. Pretty shocked it's had some negativity, i thought it was a GREAT improvement. Yeah the navi is hard to navigate through, i'll take that on board and see what we can do.

For a year now alot of people have been saying 'Rare Values... what the point?' so in V6 i wanted to vastly change how people look at it, it's got a new scope to it. Rather than just being based on values it's also based on content, information and interaction (clickable and rotatable images on select items for now). We can't stay the same forever, we need to adapt and evolve with what has happened with RV, rather than sit around and stay the same and then ultimately die off.

I can speak to David about this, and maybe this is a way we can improve it:

Normal Rare and Super Rare items have been tagged, so you can view what is what, i could see if David could make it so you can customize the way inwhich you view these pages. Like you select that you want to see the pages in terms of 'Super Rares' 'Normal Rares' and then another page with all the categories on, a bit like the old way tbh. But then we'll also have the current V6 way too. I have a new idea on how to simplify the Navi, i'll base it like the Habbo Catalog.

I also understand that the name 'Rare Values' could be quite misleading now. But with the way i'm going to get the navigation changed, this should become a little less misleading.

It looks okay, but 2 things completely ruin it for me, like absolutely ruin the look of the site.
First thing is the clouds at the top that are moving, I hate those clouds because I think they look cheap and samesy to other fansites. Also that background background with the plants is terrible. It's used by so many sites/forums that it makes the whole layout, in my opinion, looks less and less original.

Not trying to slate the whole layout, but without the two things I just mentioned I do like the layout quite a bit there are some nice little pieces to it

oh and I love the new Rare Values System

Regardless of whether people are aware of upcoming blah blah blah.

It is finally good to be off joomla I could do a happy dance right now.

Please note the style will be the last thing to change. The priority is functionality (and bugs). I did outline this in previous threads. I doubt we will even look at the style until we are in our first solid stable version.

    Glad you like it

I LOVE it. I was so glad to get away from the broken v5 values.

So much pressure on events to make sure that timetable is full now omg !!! Impressive, really.. very good indeed. I've PM'ed Dave with a couple of problems but nothing major at all. You can really tell that it's been made with staff in mind, it's so much easier to do things now. I like it, a lot.
