help desk's a bit quiet?

Since the room was moved over to Martin i've seen it getting more popular. I think this is due to Martin being in the room often and making Room Events which is bringing new users into the room.

Although i think maybe we should bring back the battle ball or something similar to grab people's attention when they enter the room.

Although this new event stage looks good if it gets used often!

Tbh nobody could be nicer than MattG and I swear he used to actually live in there but Martin of course is pretty nice too and I am sure it will be beneficial to have the Community AGM owning the Help Desk - it makes a lot of common sense as it can be used for events.

@Nick - MattG was incredibly active and nice. It'll be different though because Bolt has ****** up working hours IRL so he can be on during the night like last night. (Day for us.)

Just a note on the events side of things, I suggested about 9 months ago a Habbox Safety Night, it got thumbs up but nothing was done. Obviously it's a Help Desk so it's going to be a real focus on the safety side of things, maybe scamming included. I remember John made a huge guide before to help out others but then it got removed for whatever reason which is a real shame.

That's why, I once again bring up the idea of the Habbox Safety Schmooze! Maybe sometime on a Sunday, perhaps like 1pm so then you've got 11pm AEST, 1pm BST, 8am EST so it's quite fair for most people and doesn't get in the way of Prize Collection if people need to go there. Of course a safety quiz is a must to see how much people know anyway and maybe the second section could be half planned and half improvised, the staff check out what answers were wrong from some people and then explain why to give them a better understanding. I think it'd be really useful to get something like this up so it does promote the safety aspects of being on Habbo.

Another idea, which may have been suggested already but tbh it's a while since I've read this thread is bringing back a production. I don't mean something fancy like the Cinderella but I mean more talkshow styles like the productions department did, which could happen on maybe a weekly or a fortnightly basis. I know Charlie has an idea of trying to do this with the news department but maybe drifting away from Habbox here would be good, to have a chat about other things happening in the world. Maybe per (every other) month you could have one of the things like Cinderella, HabboxEnders ofc or Habbox & Away etc. etc. These would be more exciting shows which have a new stage rather than a talkshow sort of style but is a lot of fun.

I was speaking to Roxy on MSN about this a few minutes ago and it's how HxHD and Events are competing with their damn events. I'll be honest and I don't like the idea of Name That Singer being done by a HxHD staff, especially if for whatever reason there is another event going on. Either have EOs doing it in the room or HxHD staff doing events in the room once a day. Now Martin owns the lottery and the HxHD, maybe he could do the draw in there from now on?

Hmm I had a couple of other ideas but I fell asleep earlier 'cos that's what most people do.

I 100% agree with this post, I'd really like to see a safety night and a little safety quiz or whatever.
