Yeah we're pretty much on the same page here but are you trying to say it's okay for people to go into a room such as the HxHD and ask for votes but it's not the same as when they ask another user on MSN because at that stage it's just turning into a popularity contest?

It does depend on what's being said. I would be riled up by 'Please vote for name in the Beauty Contest!', but not by 'Consider me in the Beauty Contest'.

That's a very fair point and I agree with you but nevertheless I see no harm in asking for support.
