Are you sure this wasn't the DVLA? It's unlikely an insurance company did that, there's more evidence that the DVLA got involved or did the investigation as they're the ones that hold the licenses for the cars. An insurance company are only going to care if a claim has been taken out, they won't bother hiring investiagors for new or renewed policies when doing so means they're wasting money and chasing something that could be harmless. They only care if the vehicle is in an accident, it's what they're there for. The DVLA are the ones that do ongoing investigations into cars

It was definitely the insurance company, the guy hadn't declared the mods on the car:

CBA to read all of this as its just one massive ***** fight.

Basically the insruance company could investigate teh crash further if its going to cost them a hell of a lot, but I highly doubt they would bother.

My friend has crashed twice, each one costing £5,000 roughly, with him driving and him down as a named driver when really they were his cars, nothing came of it.

My first insurance was fronted as a company car, when I crashed that nothing came of it either.

I dont really agree with fronting myself even though I did it (only for 2 days) but I can see why others will do it because of the stupidly high price for insurance on shocking cars.

Ok, so after reading through 5 pages of arguments, I managed to get a good deal.

I passed on the 5th July, Im 17.

Under my own policy, I got £2697 (3rd party) - this includes loads of extras like recover/key loss etc...

    £405 deposit.

Im really suprised how low I got it (£500 knocked off due to pass plus) !

    AdrianFlux.com is the place

This was for a Saxo Desire 1.1

    Lew.
    Im not here to be loved, I love to be hated :-}

Someone has a rite attitude problem. Your scare mongering has already proven to be just that, scare mongering.

You could drive the car more than usual, it doesn't make you the primary driver. The primary driver is the one at the top of the list of drivers, the first on the policy - not just the one who drives the car often than usual - it's an interesting loop hole. I'm driving my mum's car a lot at the momen because it's awesome, if I have an accident they won't care because I am insured to drive that vehicle anyway - regardless of my age or if I am on top of the list of driver or not.

Your insurance company will not drive to your house to ask your neighbours who drives the car the most. Your insurance company will not go to the petrol station to waste their time and money to waste another organisations time and money to see if you're lying, even though filling up a car doesn't indicate in any way who is the primary driver (you could simply do it because you're the most comfortable filling the car). Your insurance company will not ring the police to ask them to monitor you (they will only do background checks IF it is necessary when creating the policy).

The only time they will waste their time and money is when you drive over someone, kill the poor buggar and leave the scene of the crime or cause a monumental accident, and even then it's difficult to prove - it all depends on if it is literally just you driving all the time.

So I think some of you are fear mongering and creating theories

You attacked Stefan Wolves after he posted, you attacked me after I posted, a nice little correlation is starting to arise.

You're such a faithful friend? I truly have no idea what that comment is about, again, feel free to pm me about it and then i'll respond to it...

"if you get caught then you could be risking all of your insurance, as well as any policies your parents hold because it's classed as fraud." No ones disputing this? glad we both agree on something.

Again, another post with no substance, I get the feeling you're just arguing for the sake of it and chucking any random word in.

Were you meant to quote me? I'm not sure what The Don had to say correlates with what I said. Just wondering
EDIT: Ah I think I know what you've said, ignore me You were quoting me to prove a point against someone else. Slow brain day

No, I've not been reading this thread because surprisingly the OP has had his problem sorted and doesn't need any help anymore, and I'm not going to stoop to your level of childishness again, because it seems that you'd started to argue and then ran away and let the Don and Ryan continue to debate with me. Even now you're trying to get an argument going again, even after Danzoo and tdi explained (who are knowledgable when it comes to stuff like this) and posted evidence of it happening. Your argument of 'scare mongering' is just laughable, I'm not going down that route again.

drink up this bottle of yeah
