Having gone through the process of packing up shop and leaving I found that it got harder and harder to keep contact, especially with other stuff going on. A lot of the time the reason for talking with the people I met on here was part of actually doing my job. By nature I'm not especially chatty so once the catalyst for conversation went I pretty much reverted to my pre-staff self and just kept to myself. A couple of people I tried to stay in contact with, but eventually they vanished too.

That's not to say I don't miss them, a lot of things I do regret. Rosie pretty much nailed it, just stopping in from time to time to say "hi" .

I feel very confident that I'll abide by what I presently do now even when I'm gone.

It wont matter if they're active at Habbox, or if they're not. If we got along, if they're a nice, friendly, just genuinely good person then I do and will go the extra mile to talk to them and do my best to not allow our communication to fade into non existence.

On the other hand if it's an individual I've spoken to who leaves, and I think they're dishonest, "two-faced", generally rude or mean or just doesn't come off as a very trustworthy person or one whom I really don't feel comfortable with for an assortment of various reasons, I will not keep in touch with them, and bury the hatchet with them sotospeak.

It's really hard to gauge sometimes how sincere a person is that you meet on the internet. I've met a lot of great people at Habbox who I know are good friends and good people. I've only met the occasional person who to put it in layman's terms would stampede over you numerous times to improve their own situation even a little.

I still talk to some people that I've met through Habbo/Habbox, even though I'm far from an active user these days. It's possible, but you do end up talking a lot less to people in the long run.

QFT. You don't 'leave' Habbox, you just post less often

This is an easy question for me to answer. Yes, I would keep in contact with some of the people I respect and look up to on here. There are some honest, lovely and decent people.
