there is still a lot of prejudice towards mental health in the uk and around the world. mind do a lot of work in the community (especially with teenagers) helping people with mental health problems and helping the larger community understand mental health more. i think it would be a good choice because mental health illness is a topic that is still generically avoided. there are statistics to prove we all at least know someone with either an undiagnosed mental illness or someone who keeps their suffering secret.
adolescence is the biggest time of yr life when a mental illness can surface, mind help teenagers understand their feelings and help them look for other supportive outlets. the teenage suicide rate is growing and growing and mind want to help stop that.

so yeah, mind *+*+*

Many people young & old fight cancer as well as lose loved ones via cancer

This, I know a 16-year old girl from my primary school who died recently and it just shouldn't happen.

One of my friends has leukemia but I still wouldn't give money to Cancer Research personally.

No, they can be any charity I would imagine that our donation would make a significant difference to smaller charities.

That is correct, Make A Wish foundation nominations will be discarded as we supported them last year.
