I always find it strange whenever somebody calls for the sacred cows of the BBC or NHS to be broken up/people given an opt-out, some strangely seem to rally around these bloated and wasteful organisations as though television would end and healthcare would vanish.

Stop pretending the BBC only deals with BBC 1/2/3/4 tv channels (is there a 4?)

I'm not discussing what or how many channels the BBC has or doesn't have, i'm discussing removing its unfair and forced monopoly tax.

If its as popular as you lot claim, then it will have no problem against rivals. If not, in which case the idea that the BBC is 'simply great' is proved wrong, why should we be forced to subsidise your television tastes? The answer is that we shouldn't.

I was pointing out that the BBC does more than ******* television and radio, so you need to do a bit of research.

Also, brilliant idea. Lets privatise healthcare. Didn't realise you could afford the huge hospital bills to be honest.

Does your flat have a shared TV? Don't see the point of getting a TV license for myself personally, if not why don't you all pool in money, and if you do then stick with that! Is £100+ worth it for live TV when you have iPlayer, etc.

You're funny!!! Sorry my conservative, right-wing views are not those of the majority on this forum.

I'm allowed my views and can validly back them up, and so I think the BBC should be broken up, the government taking responsibility for digital and other British services while the BBC is privatised and made to compete with all other broadcasters, television, radio, red button, whatever.

Oh I know, thanks for pointing it out

Hate to say it, but the views of the three leading parties are all so similar there is virtually no differentiation of the three parties. When the Conservatives privatise the BBC and Labour disagree I will talk.

My sisters Student Loan will not stretch to what she needs. The bank of mummy and daddy will - but that doesn't make it right.
I never said anything about "the bank of mummy and daddy" I said you can get a student line of credit, which comes from the bank, to pay for whatever your student loan won't cover.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
