Actually, her lyrics are not any less meaningful than a lot of music in the charts. That's such an annoyingly typical view. And for the artists who do write music about them partying and drinking, that is still relevant to them, just as Adele's songs are relevant to her, so once again your point falls flat. The only way the video backs up anything about Adele is that her whole image is as dull as watching paint dry.

PLEASE tell me what Adele's videos for Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You "mean" then. And watching music videos and listening to music IS entertainment. You can be entertained by something with meaning... entertaining doesn't just mean comical or whatever it is you're suggesting.

Whereas Someone Like You contradicts Rolling in the Deep and is basically summing up her relationship with the guy and how she was emotional and lonely afterwards.

Just by looking at the expressions on her face you can see the anger and emotion as well as seeing plates being thrown at the wall..
