its kinda.... odd to show somone getting hit by a car to try and scare people into looking both ways since stuff like that can tromertise you so you dont want to cross a road EVER again -.-'

Basicaly they are saying that the one hit wonder is the kid that wasn't paying attention whilst crossing the road, his one hit was probably bieng in the newspapers aka the one hit wonder..

Maybe someone has written this but I canny be bothered to read them all atm
