Martin your resignation is such a major loss to habbox, you've put a lot of work and time into all of your roles here and its sad to see you go.
Dan, good luck to you in your new role
Myke, Congrats, and best of luck to you as an agm!
Tom, Well done, and good luck!

Don't get me wrong though, that could still mean he does a decent job. Look at Oli!

Good luck to all three of you, but as stated I do have some concerns - but that won't cloud my judgement on you guys

Oh, wait, sorry! I keep forgetting as a member I cannot have opinions on changes at Habbox anyway. Silly me
There is absolutely a fine line between expressing your opinion on Habbox changes and outright slandering, or, insulting another member. If you feel me being unhappy when I see this sort of hate is me brutally suppressing the opinions of the people of Habbox, feel free to call me Kim Jong-Il
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

I hate to tell you, but I was not insulting any members when I was told I could not have my opinion on different subjects. I am merely repeating Kim Jin-Il's words.

I don't remember telling you you weren't allowed to have an opinion, nor do I remember stating that you insulted anyone else.

To reaffirm, there is a difference between politely expressing your concerns over a situation, and blatantly being rude towards someone else in a congratulatory thread. The latter is disgusting whereas the foremost is not.

"I don't understand why you feel you are entitled to evaluate us on every change we make as much as we like to entertain the community's opinions and ideas there are some things where you don't have a say in the matter and you need to come to terms with that." ~ Jin

Now, don't get me wrong, of course I might not get a say in whether things happen or not - as that is general day to day life.

But to not be entitled to an opinion on the matter (which on a forum, you generally do voice your opinions, or there would be no posts?). And I guess Mr Jin-Il's words count over yours?

    ---

I apologise, and as I clearly said myself "

But lets not forget, we wouldn't be allowed to discuss such a matter in feedback as it has nothing to do with us.

To clarify here, you've not been mandated to keep totally quiet about something or someone you dislike at Habbox. My own point of this thread was that I thought just blatantly insulting someone being congratulated in a congratulatory thread is done in poor taste, however, I can see that what you're talking about is different because you're wanting to actually give constructive criticisms on the topic at hand. Jin's point I believe on that is that changes like who we appoint to certain positions are not like other changes such as new skins we introduce, HxHD layouts and so on. Where it is appropriate to publicly discuss the attributes of a HxHD layout it is totally inappropriate to publicly engage in a discussion about the skillsets and abilities of an individual to maintain a role at the fansite. This concept was recognized years ago and has never been tolerated here and never will be, hence the existence of this forum. You might also consider contacting Matt and Jin directly if the query is for instance about me and you don't want me to know about it. You might retort here saying we "never listen" in private complaints but then, we analyze them just as thoroughly as public complaints. Saying this isn't an excuse to say we suppress your opinion, because you do and always have the opportunity to express your opinions at Habbox so long as you do so appropriately.
