With my grant I'll be able to afford it quite comfortably and I checked and I'm 100% eligible for a grant so I'm unsure to as why they haven't included it on the letter they sent me

Oh I see. I know student finance has been messing up a lot lately, all my friends who have applied have had problems with the grant too.
