Should drop the 2700k to 2700 if possible as if hes too scared to build a PC he's not going to OC

    They don't offer that option

They will Overclock it for him for an extra £25 but I took it off to try and save him money if he wasn't going to need it.

Think I'm going to stick with my HP unless FSX doesn't work well or Sims.

Yeah, don't make a thread in the first place asking for advice, then ignoring every single user

If you have your mind set before you even post it's just wasting our time...

    Yeah but still ultimately pointless

Could make a thread and have people look/customize systems for me then say **** it i'll go with what I was looking at 2 weeks ago, seems kinda stupid unless you actually have a reason for it

By reason I don't include lack of trust for a multi million/billion pound company which basically anyone can vouch for

OK I wasn't going to post as I don't know a ton about computers... but seriously why would you post saying oh it's not good enough, then when you're given perfectly good alternatives you still decide to stay with the barely working one?

PC World are literally idiots, half of them are told to SELL and have no idea what they're on about. They have barely any idea of computers, and if they do it's the basic specs. I was in there asking for graphics cards and the guy literally picked up the most expensive and said 'this is the best'.

You won't get a better deal buying pre-built (not including overclockers) systems. Definitely not the specs you want for that price.

What I actually wanted to know was why does it say FS2004 is okay on my PC and FSX is amazing? Then you all started banging on about other PCs and I was interested but my mum is looking into it.
