Should drop the 2700k to 2700 if possible as if hes too scared to build a PC he's not going to OCUse their System Configurator.
Came up with something like this:
Intel Z77 Ivybridge 10200i Configurator - Extreme Gaming System
- Samsung S24B300BS 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Glossy Black
- System build fan. Sharkoon 2000rpm Golf Ball (temporarily out of stock)
- Full Cable Management
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-02050)
- OCZ ZS Series 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
- OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM
- Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM (ST2000DL003)
- Sapphire HD 7870 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card w/ Nexuiz & Dirt Showdown PC Games
- Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX)
- Asus P8Z77-V LX Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
- Prolimatech Panther CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1155/1156/AM2/AM2+/AM3)
- Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
- Xigmatek Asgard Midi Tower Case - Black
The Mobo has WiFi like you wanted and also a very nice 24 inch monitor which I use myself.
Total £1189 with VAT.![]()
Think I'm going to stick with my HP unless FSX doesn't work well or Sims.![]()

lol idiot. sorry but the truth hurts.
ugh, listen to the hxf users and get a refund... thx
The day I get to 200 in Ping Pong II is the day my life is complete.
Yeah, don't make a thread in the first place asking for advice, then ignoring every single user
If you have your mind set before you even post it's just wasting our time...
Yeah but still ultimately pointless
Could make a thread and have people look/customize systems for me then say **** it i'll go with what I was looking at 2 weeks ago, seems kinda stupid unless you actually have a reason for it
By reason I don't include lack of trust for a multi million/billion pound company which basically anyone can vouch for![]()
OK I wasn't going to post as I don't know a ton about computers... but seriously why would you post saying oh it's not good enough, then when you're given perfectly good alternatives you still decide to stay with the barely working one?
PC World are literally idiots, half of them are told to SELL and have no idea what they're on about. They have barely any idea of computers, and if they do it's the basic specs. I was in there asking for graphics cards and the guy literally picked up the most expensive and said 'this is the best'.
You won't get a better deal buying pre-built (not including overclockers) systems. Definitely not the specs you want for that price.
What I actually wanted to know was why does it say FS2004 is okay on my PC and FSX is amazing? Then you all started banging on about other PCs and I was interested but my mum is looking into it.![]()
