As been mentioned, I love the real life atmosphere of GTA IV such as turning the lights on and off, the Police Radio being able to check police records and call for backup.
I'd love to see more access to buildings and more real life actions in the game. Just sooner the better we get a release date.

I don't think its been scrapped as Zavvi.com still have it listed up for a November 23rd release. Lets hope this is the real deal because I can't wait any longer
