It's a full OS, they just cut down most of the additional libraries for applications to use. It fully understands what a USB device is, not that it'll be able to run much software to do anything about it. I'd be very surprised if apple even bothered porting itunes.

Also, the iPad 4, I think they had to update it sooner rather then later because of the lightning connecter, as now all products have that.

Even for the price £269 I think is still pretty good considering it's Apple, and the specs for that price are reasonable.
Yeah the only reason I use my CD drive regularly is the Edexcel Maths CDs that come with the textbooks . But also, don't you need a CD drive to install Windows on Boot Camp? Personally though, I'll be getting the normal MBP which has a CD drive anyway.

    Not online very often

You can make the windows installer bootable on a USB stick to be fair - Not sure if that works with boot camp as I've never owned a Mac and done that.

So... the iPad Mini has a 7.9" screen. People are already calling it the Samsung Galaxy Note iPad

Windows 8 RT is not a full operating system, I want the full Windows experience on a tablet so I'm likely going to get a not RT tablet when they become better priced.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

Facebook, BBC, Google+, The Guardian... I could go on.

Other comments are about how Apple is playing catch-up... again.

Judging by the lack of comments on here, the event really must of been a let down, but that's common with these big reveal events now.
