It shouldn't be like that tbh. We should be able to choose our chat customization under settings on whether we want the new chat bubbles or not, and also the colored text bubbles. When we sign up to habbo we should be able to choose also as the people that join would not know how to change it.

Does that minimail not say that it will be customisable? People will be able to choose what they have?

It says each room will have the ability to allow it or not. We should be able to manually change it ourselves in the account settings and not deal with it by which room we go to.

Ahh I see... I agree with you then, that would make more sense basing it on personal preference rather than room owner preference.

I definitely agree that it should be based on personal preference. I don't see why a different room type would warrant having to use one system over the other...

I guess the reason for leaving it with room owners is just because it'll fit with some rooms more than others, e.g. In a small room you won't want the new chat but in the large room you will (or is it the other way round?), so in that way it's good that it'll now be different for each room provided the room owner is choosing what works best in their room, which again depends on the room layout used and the structure of the room itself.

However, an option for the user to just turn of all the new chat and keep it as it currently is in all rooms might be good, but then again I guess we should all just get used to it as it'll be good for the new big rooms .
