Why would Red Bull make Vettel let Webber through? What if Webber were to have a problem... Vettel would be another chance, giving Webber the win would have taken away that chance. Good strategy by them!
One for the road.
I agree like they said on the tele... what happens if Webber crashes into Alonso? Vettel can then win the title really easily.
At least he has hinted that he will let Webber through depending on what the race situation is.

I think Red Bull deserve it this year. Go Vettel or Webber!

You mention the race situation... I can't see how there's not some backhanding of cash going on to any drivers that can take out the big players for other teams.. If someone talks out Alonso, I'll be happy.. but I think Ferrari will be the ones backhanding..... not red bull.
Think about it should Massa become a back marker or is close to Webber or Vettel he could make a "mistake" and wipe one of them out leaving Alonso with only the one car to worry about... i hope not though as it should all be done fairly. You mention the race situation... Christian Horner has said that its upto the drivers to decide if switching places is the best thing during the race, which im sure they will if needs be.
This is what each driver needs:
- If Alonso wins or is second, he is champion
- If Webber wins, he wins the title if Alonso is third or worse
- If Vettel wins and Alonso is 5th or worse, Vettel wins the title
- If Hamilton wins, Alonso must fail to score, Webber be 6th or worse and Vettel 3rd or worse, Hamilton wins the title

So, the starting positions for the final race are:
1 Vettel
2 Hamilton
3 Alonso
4 Button
5 Webber
6 Massa
IF it ends like this then Alonso will win the championship by 5 points (remember the switch between Massa & Alonso... 7 points gained)
So... should it end like this then there might just be a few angry Red Bull people.
Get your money on Alonso, I know I am!
I hope his engine fails or messes the start up. Come on Webber & Vettel!
