A year. I am glad you've noticed it's different. I wanted to make it more adult but keeping the "Teenage" vibe. It'll adopt the "teenage" part a bit more sooner when somebody's parents turn up and turn someone's life upside down...

Yeah well you know whose parents it'll be, it'll be Serena's and they wont have been told about Ed & Serena breaking up and Danny will make the wrong impression and BOOM! He starts going on about killing the parents and moving to Mexico.

You've got the parents right... but not the second part. I'll say this much, there will be TWO shocks for the parents but much more for Serena when her parents divulge some shock information to the wrong person...
