If the screen flashes pregnant / not pregnant, would river song not be flashing in and out of existance?

Well we don't know when she started being a ganger, the doctor did say something about how she hasnt been herself for a long time and hes been blocking the signal or something.

its a tad illogical that she becomes a ganger without visiting the place :S

That was what the signal thing he was on about, although why she was "chosen" to be a ganger I would quite like to know. I guess this is where river comes along.

Thought: I am dead sure the Doctor has used the screwdriver around Ganger Pond and perhaps outright scanned her at times. You could argue "different frequencies" but surely she'd feel something.

Well either Moffat said to all of the Series 6 Part 1 writers "DON'T PUT THE SCREWDRIVER ON AMY" or I'm missing something.

I am pretty sure the Doctor scanned Amy in Day of the Moon, to unlock her from the Silent's restraint.

The whole idea of ganger amy was to mislead the Dr. and Rory to thinking she was still with the.

Amy was captured put into one of the ganger machines and she was controlling ganger amy and believed she was ganger amy (Hence why she said Oh No, she finally realised she wasn't on the tardis) Thats why she kept seeing eye patch lady. It was because she kept having flashes of where she really was.

Or thats what i gathered from the episode.
