Episode was average up untill the end, plot was a bit predictable. Anyway you know he's coming back because it's Doctor Who.
This, although I'm happy we won't see him for a few episodes, having said that, I still felt sad when Amy was trying to remember him and she just forgot. I hope they pick this story back up in a later series, I really love the idea of Elliot (the child?) bridging the gap between the humans and the Silurans like the Doctor alludes too.
I really liked this episode, yes it was a bit predictable and stuff, but it was still really enjoyable. The cliffhanger is brilliant and I'm really looking forward to Van Gogh next week.

Timey wimey stuff will solve that paradox I'm sure :p

yeah if you play with time you've gotta fix it in that case.

but technically they could have just shown that "opposite time line" and theres another crossroad were the other one = he didn't exist then the 1 he does exist but they both hit that spot. confusing imo

But in the masters case, he was fighting for the timelords then, no matter what, now he understands what they want doing and it isn't going to happen, and if they just grab a previously existing version from him that'd just kill the plot in my eyes.

I got the impression while Amy etc forgot the memory of Rory, the Doctor seemed like he could still remember him... just from the way he looked at Amy and stuff. Surely EVERYONE should forget him, Timelord or not.

that was just idiotic, the moon lined up with the planet before the mantle had even solidified into a walkable earth, bacteria wasn't even existant for another good 2 million or so years LOL. i'd say the moon came into alignment around half a million years after the earth formed into a planetary like object.

how could that fit the bill, if the moon was already in existance by the time any life evolved what so ever?

The planet, literally, had no life cycle before a moon, and the case will be the same afterward, if we didn't have a moon our water would be poisonous and emit poisonous gasses. h30 or something.

They said the lizard people were scared under earth because of the moon coming into alignment, when truthfully it was already in alignment. I don't even think it "came" into alignment it was built from a meteor belt we had, we had a ring or something and that ring collided together to make a moon, i might be wrong but i think thats how the moon was created o_o

Its funny, I was taught the moon was made up of the Earth when a massive asteroid collided with the earth, so it was already pretty much aligned lol

It was definitely made up from part of the earth, I definitely remember that. I think it was an asteroid though.

i thought we collided with another planet though o_o

dunno how its possible like seeing as they wouldn't get big enough to do that really. -researches.

if it was an asteroid it would have to have been a pretty hefty huge one.
