Massive police presence in my town centre though I don't expect anything to happen here tonight
Boardmasters festival in Newquay on friday...The force said there would be more officers in Plymouth, Exeter, Truro and Torbay on Tuesday evening following postings on social networking sites.
@Jackass, Just heard the same confirmed to me. Not sure if it's a rumour going round, but asda has been targetted(like you said).
Police should just use ******* force.
Shocked they haven't attacked their schools tbf
One of the MP's said on the news today that they weren't going to use water cannons or plastic bullets because that would be too violent or something...
Yeah so attacking policemen, women and civilians, throwing petrol bombs and breaking into shops isn't violent...
The whole system is way too soft on these criminals, I bet they'll get put into jail for a few months, then let off with a slap on their wrist. Will they have to pay for the damage they've caused, oh definitely not, they're all probably on benefits. It's the hardworking people, who actually want to make a good life for themselves, who will end up paying, as usual.
It's all well and good them putting 16'000 police officers on the streets of London but without the authority to actually use force, I don't see the point in botheringI predict that tonight it'll be a disaster and that the rioters are going to make the police force look a complete shambles

The usual **** is coming from all this, apparently rioting in Wellington(2mins from me). But with our chavs, that wouldn't surprise me.
