So it's okay for Habbo to charge people to pay to maintain their own sites through their own premium membership, HC, but not okay for fansites to do the same.
Looks like someone's trying to sell a few extra credits.

Well yeh, All Habbo fansites should make an announcement saying "Do not spend money with Habbo untill they let us sell VIP". If this is because of money and everyone listened to the announcement then it would work. But I doubt that this would ever happen.

I wouldn't necessarily say stating it twice is "a number of times".
If we did something that drastic then there would be repercussions. I think we can only attempt to reason with them, maybe get a huge petition.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
did anyone ever think that making such a big deal about it would make habbo want to take action on their claim?
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
It's a bad move by Sulake, but really, Habbox, or other fansites in general shouldn't be trying to avoid it in any way. Nothing they can do will fix this issue.
There are plenty of ways to make a decent amount of money online without resorting to premium services anyway. Fansites are just going to have to explore those instead.
'habbox.com' is the official fansite though and 'habboxforum.com' isn't the official fansite... so shouldn't habbox be ok?
