For the few of you who may have not known him, Robin was a long-standing British Airways Virtual pilot, who served as BAV Human Resources Director since 2003. He was also a well-respected member of the VATSIM community, of which he was an administrator.

As BAV Board members, we will remember Robin as a friendly individual, always ready to help and with an everlasting sense of humour. Above all, he was a good and happy man. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

To honour Robin's memory, we have decided to retire from use the BAW0003 callsign: it will remain forever his. We are also organising a memorial fly-in, more details will be posted via NOTAM.

Good bye Robin, may you ever rest in peace.

On behalf of the HabboxForum Flight Simulation Team , British Airways Virtual , & VATSIM - RIP Robin.

    Many Thanks,
    Samuel Millar

    Default Mmmmm

Flew to Lapland last night from Luton and whilst crossing over Sweden and mainland Finland I lost altitude on a number of occasions, between 50-600ft.. Now, obv the weather conditions around these places wasn't fantastic but there wasn't really anything specifically that explained why I was getting these - Temperature wasn't too cold, no cloud in the area and no sudden rush of hot air!

Maybe it's just FS and VATSIM being silly?

Even better if anyones been to Lapland in real life!

Despite what Vataware says the flight was actually 3 hours 22, owing to a go around at Rovaniemi.
