I think you need more than one part to make a decent story. single parters are normally HUGE let downers with the exception of a few (Blink, Amy's choice, waters of mars) A true story needs 3 parts. Part 1 the build up (endign with revelation they are in danger) Part 2 is where they think theyve solved the problem but the enemy stops them (Ending in climatic turning point (Doom basically) and Part 3 is the conclusion.
Thats how storys work and thats how i like Dr. who SINGLE EPISODES USUALLY FEEL RUSHED! XDmy rant haha
I only like 2 parters for the end episodes, other wise i hate them!

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
On the end of episode teaser last week the Doctor pronounced it wrong (the common way; Van Goff) and I also thought of QI. Although thinking about it he might have just been exaggerating it, possibly to mock the way we all say it wrong.![]()
jamessss cordennnnnnn. can't wait until next weeks episode.
that episode even nearly made me cry LOL
it was beautiful O-O one of my faves
I liked this episode quite a bit, I thought the bit at the end with Amy crying was just stupid, I don't get why she was so upset that there wasn't any new paintings. Plus the monster looked stupid
Was a really good episode, one of this series' finest.
I think she was upset because she thought they had changed his life so that he wouldn't kill himself, therefore live longer, therefore paint more paintings, but there was no new paintings because he still commited suicide and that's what upset her.

I cried at the end. Damnit.
Amy was interesting, Doctor was being Doctory and they actually used a historical character and made him into an actual interesting character instead of a plot device.
Incredible. One of the New Who finest, and without a doubt Series 5 best episode yet.
