They can't stop text links to Habbox or Habbox live, that's like saying google can't give links to fansites that sell vip.
Lets set the stage on fire, and hollywood will be jealous.
Well I use the non-Habbo skin so they can... GET THE **** OFF MY BACK THE ******* **** **** HEADS.
Can I stock up on VIP or will it be removed?
"Fansites must not:
- Publish any personal information, pictures, video or documents
belonging to Sulake Corporation Oy."
An email is a document.
Want to bet, I just recived a email telling me of for posting it.
Well they can email me to remove it now.Ahh I think there's a bit of confusion here. It's not about whether a
fansite is official or unofficial...or even whether it's a fansite in
fact. Every graphic, article and piece of code on Habbo's sites is owned
by Sulake as is the trademark 'Habbo', and as the owner Sulake governs
how these things are used (or not used) by anyone else.
Why are they no longer allowing fansites to sell items/premium services?
Unfortunately because a significant number of fansites around the world
were doing such things as selling t-shirts with Habbo images on or
charging users to access clones of certain features such as Habbo Homes.
Just as you can't download Rhianna's latest hit and decide to charge
others 30p a time to download it from your own site, so you can't use
Sulake's intellectual property, copyrights or trademarks to generate
income. Sulake decided to make it clear that this couldn't be done via
the Fansite Way as the Terms are quite 'heavy reading'.
Some fansites do need to generate money to offset costs and they can
STILL do this via the following methods (and probably more they can
think of):
* User donation - they can't give a premium service or an item in return
as that's simply 'selling' by another name, but they can thank the
donator by giving them greater exposure on the site....badges, banners,
name printed somewhere, different colour on username, radio shout-outs etc
* Site sponsorship (eg approaching some company with all their site
stats and seeing if they'll cover hosting costs in return for ads or a
branded site)
* Ad revenue
If they don't want to do the above then they can continue to charge but
not use any of Sulake's intellectual property on the site
Hope that explains clears things up.

I got emailed that first, Then i posted here then go another email from emma. So mmmmmm
I actually hate Sulake? :S
i'm out of touch, i'm out of love
i'll pick you up when you're getting down
and out of all these things i've done
i think i love you better now
I think it's stupid, yeah. However, they're a company and the one goal all companies share is to make money and as much as they can. I think it's relatively ludicrous they're trying to implement such plans but do I blame them? Certainly not. To say you hate them is such a huge generalisation the wage they pay their staff members feed families, lol.
You cant go round "hating" companies as a whole, its just the people in charge of those companies really
If I thought there was any point in hating companies I would hate Nike, Coca-cola, Adidas, Sulake, Microsoft, Sony and sooo many others
Although this rule is a bit pointless I have to say.
