How can you say 'it isn't to my taste' when you haven't even watched an episode? You probably haven't even read the synopsis either, have you?
Ippo is disgusted with this attitude.
yea my friend hates sports. yet hes getting into all these sports series because most of them are comedy.. so i may try some out some time. And nice punch![]()
I dislike watching sports irl, but then i thought like ryuzaki's friend, soooooo i said i might watch some
yea. boxing is fighting so i can see the appeal lol i watched a wrestling/street fight type series which i enjoyed. hmm
from what i can think off
Prince of tennis - Tennis
Slam dunk - Basketball
Eyeshield 21 - American Football
And i seen a baseball one on funimation.
Bet you my dvds come tommorow when im at work -.-
Question about Hajime no Ippo or "The fighting" ive seen it get called. Just the series is on dvd yea? and 1 ova. and the manga wasnt brought over? because it does look like its worth buying tho.. im tempted to hold off. since its by Geneon and since there handing over there series to Funimation. and in turn there repackaging them into box sets. which is better than 15 dvds? lol.
You can't dislike watching boxing unless you're a woman.
Don't worry about 'The Fighting' in the title, that's just engrish. It's actually known as Fighting Spirit overseas, as well as Hajime no Ippo. I haven't really researched into DVDs or anything but I know it was released in America in two parts. Both parts should have around 38 episodes. The manga was never translated and released outside of Japan, probably because it's currently 88 volumes long and still going. That would require a lot of dedication from translators, licensors and distributors.Question about Hajime no Ippo or "The fighting" ive seen it get called. im getting an external for my bday i think so. put it on there until i watch it. i want to know what i can get on dvd tho so might look into it later. keep the stuff that isnt done on external. i read that theres a 3rd series comming?
From wiki ( so you know not always right lol )
Geneon distributed the Fighting Spirit series in North America on 15 DVDs with 5 episodes per disc. The first DVD was released on July 6, 2004 and the fifteenth released on December 19, 2006.[7] The DVDs included English and Spanish language tracks, as well as the original Japanese. The movie, Champion Road, has also been released in North America on DVD by Geneon. Unfortunately, plans for the second OVA, Kimura vs Mashiba, are not in the works. Disc sales of the series did not break even. The first DVD was the best selling at ~5,000 units with each DVD afterwards selling ~1,000 units.[citation needed] Many fans blame the lack of marketing and the negative appeal that a "sports" anime has on the mainstream audience.[original research?] As Geneon USA closed its doors at the end of 2007, the US rights of the series are in question.
So the 2nd series was done aswell? illlook on amazon.com and stuff. if its just ovas that are missing then just keep them on the external.

Lol, an 'external'.I love how you don't even say hard drive. But seriously, why are you downloading it via megaupload? It's slow and your speed will get cut. Theres a great torrent on boxtorrents that has the entire series, the OVA and the movie, it's well seeded and fast.
Yeah, I mentioned the third series earlier. Rikiya Koyama, the best voice actor EVAR, leaked the news a couple of months back. The second series has also been praised as much and rated as high as the first, if not more so. My download is at 92.6% so that'll be finished soon. Can't wait to watch it!
lol well my HD is 500gb and i have like 120 left. and im buying a 1tb external.
Link me. lol i didnt bother looking for a torrent because usually thats when they throttle me. if i download a few eps a day and watch then i dont get throttled.
Hmm i dont think the 2nd series was done. only the 1st one and movie.
Oh and yea my site iw as making. i may be changing to anime so that way i can have more people work with it, i really cba writing all these pages lol and cant find any OP people that could help.. so turning it anime might work but i dno. but meh. we'll see
The second series only just finished recently, and I think Japan have only recently released the last DVD. Theres no way that will be released anywhere else in a while.
Amazon have two DVDs titled Fighting Spirit Part 1 and Fighting Spirit Part 2. The aparrent running time on each is long enough to have all 76 episode between them.
Boxtorrents isn't working for me at the moment but theres definitely a good torrent on there. Just search Hajime no Ippo on the website and you'll find it.lol well my HD is 500gb and i have like 120 left. and im buying a 1tb external.

I'll help you out with your website if you want. Although I don't know what I would do. I don't really know anything about coding or html, but I'm confident in my knowledge of anime and manga.
