But not as big as a rivalry as Man U and Liverpool... If he went to Liverpool, Utd would see him as a betrayer and trying to help Liverpool win the league over Utd. Besides, there has been loads of Utd players coming to City in the past.
Yeah but they never used the reason, 'because they didn't want to join a team that was a rival'. I get what you mean about Liverpool being a bigger rivalry as it's more for a spot on the big 4 rather than a local rivalry, but still he shouldn't use that excuse really. Man City really don't need to buy another striker, they have a solid midfield and a good strike force, if anything they need a young and talented GK, and two new Full Backs and then there sorted for a top 7 finish next season.
No more Goalkeepers, got Given, Taylor and Schmechiel (can never spell his name)
John Terry is staying in a hotel in Manchester tonight.
Yay 32

Ah yeah forgot about Schmechiel. Yeah fair enough. Given is good but he's gettingo old. Also why hasn't he got the Number 1 yet, anyone know? Yeah, all Man City need now are two good full Backs and they can play:
- Given (GK)
- NEW RB
- Richards (CB)
- Kompany (CB)
- NEW LB
- Wright-Phillips (RW)
- Elano (RCM)
- De Jong (CDM)
- Barry (LCM)
- Robinho (LW)
- Tevez (S)
Or they could play 4-4-2 with Tevez and Santa Cruz and get rid of De Jong.
To be honest, that team is pretty strong and has a good depth, so as long as they buy two new full backs there sorted for the new Season.
Need to keep De Jong i reckon, and i hate Richards i think we would be good to get rid of him, so maybe a new CB, I don't think they can really give him no. 1 now that Hart has had it so long, it would be very mean just pushing him out the way, even though he's on loan.
See that team is almost perfect as you have a good balance in midfield with De Jong playing as a Ball winner in the middle, and then good wing play and also if Tevez needs help then Robinho can always come in from the left wing and barry can fill. If you get your defence sorted then you have a shot at a top 7, at least, finish, maybe even 5th. I wouldn't say a top 4 position just yet, give it another season at least until that can happen but definently top 7.
And I don't know, I find Richards quite talented but maybe if Terry comes in then he can replace him but really you need to get some full backs.
Damien Plessis is decent.

22 Million pound deal that might happen. To be honest, I'd rather we sold him, and then bought a good ball winner in midfield and a new keeper. Then we'd have a decent side, however, maybe lacking some striker force and wing play.
EDIT: They really don't need another striker though.
