    What Van Gogh basically had was synaesthesia. Wouldn't make you see invisible monsters though lol

    I'd rather the reason be "He's a damn good artist." to be able to see the monster, than "OOOGLY WOOGLY PSYCHIC LINK."

    I didn't like the CG monster that much.

    Kind of has to be questioned as well; why does The Doctor see a monster in a painting and is then compelled to go back in time to find and put everyone (or just Amy) in danger lol
