The cars would look pretty silly though! Maybe they'll change the colours slightly to suit all the sponsorship. Lotus-Renault are rumoured to be revealing their 2011 challenger at the Autosport Show on the 15th.

Has any more been said about a buyer for HRT? It would be nice to see some funding for them come through, don't want to see a team fold midway through a championship, or any time infact.

HRT apparently have a big sponsor apparently to be announced soon, according to Kolles it is one on Spain's biggest companies. However they may not even have a new chasis for 2011 and may have to run their 2010 challenger with small upgrades

That would really put HRT at the back of the field. Its a shame they fell out with Toyota, it could of given them a small boost if they started a partnership with them.

All they have going for them is a Williams gearbox and a dog of a 2010 car

Wasn't it Stefan GP that was going to use Toyota chassis? Absolute rubbish they haven't been allowed in yet again.

Yeah, but they didn't think they needed any more new teams.

If they didn't 'think' they needed more teams why did they open applications for a 14th team?

Because they had an extra space on the grid due to US GP pulling out, and they considered the new teams this year an embarrasment. What they really want is manufactures that can just create a team and be fighting for the tops 10 places. Rather than racing teams which will build themselves up, like Manor (Virgin), Lotus and HRT.
