Hmm, nice idea, though your shading/lightning is poor. You say it's a cardboard box, all i see is a mix between rubber and plastic.
Example: The lines on the top is thick and creates a lid of some kind, not a cardboard plate.. too rounded. Also the thickness of your window/door lines etc, they look like some plastic materials glued to the surface of the cardboard, and i allways thought the edges of a cardboard plate was open so you saw that it's put togheter by three paper plates, one on each side with another one "waved" inside..

Its all done in cardboard then painted, some of the paints shiny maybe thats why it looks odd
