Oh how I love Valentine's Day - so tender and sweet !
A day where all lovers remember their first meet,
The sun is always shining, the sky is always blue,
And throughout the world all can be heard "I love you."

My story is an unhappy one,
But I have tell it - it has to be done!
My Valentine girl had a shine to her smile,
But little did I know she would do something vile...

Her teeth were like pearls straight from the sea,
I thought her scarlet lips would be kissing me,
She betrayed and lied,
As much as I cried...

So what was this is evil crime she commited ?
Well I thought this was not permitted !
She caught sight of a "cooler" male,
Playing Rugby through a strong, strong gale...

I confronted her, my face grim,
"Who do you adore ? Me or him ?! "
She said she would choose,
And I thought to myself I cannot lose.

My aching heart was filled with sorrow,
Will she choose me !? Will I see her tomorrow !?
But all I could do was sit and wait,
To see if my dream girl would be my date...

So here ends my tale,
Because she thought I was stale,
My rivalis had won,
Venus Goddess of Love had betrayed me,
Because in my heart it felt like it had been stung by the Queen bee..

*Rivalis is Latin for Rival In Love*

Its the time of year again,
When love is in the air
When you begin to feel all lovey dovey
And people kiss without a care

Gifts received, cards are sent
Hugs and kisses exchanged.
They'll gaze deep into each others eyes
And repeat those magical words again and again
