Not really, you can pinch the skin pretty well on top of your hand. You cant grab your skin on the bottom of your foot.

Update 2: He's now out of the hospital in a wheelchair for 3 months. He has had it sewn up and lost it completly. He won't be able to walk for up to six months. (Something to do with the nerves in the legs).

But he said he feels better. :p

Hmm, I could probably explain it without it being that bad.

Think of it this way: The places on your body with the most skin hurt the least. If you slam your bare foot on the floor, it doesnt hurt that much. Theres thick skin on the bottom of your foot. Now slam your arm on the ground. Probably hurts more.

Now the balls (hahah) have barely any skin. AND there is no bone in there to protect it or support it. It would be like if your hand had no bone in it and you hit it on a table. There are so many ways it could bend and squish, it would probably hurt a lot.

Wrong. It has nothign to do with skin at all. We all have 3 layers of skin everywhere on our body. The reason our balls hurt so much when they are disturbed is because there are so many sensitive nerves in there. Hundreds about. With said that, even if u just do a little flick, it can be the worst pain
