Cant he take out the negative things and just say.. i think you need to do this.. and that.

It really hurts when you do an alt and people say its rubbish...
    Firstly Aj to you -
I call it like it is, I don't just tell people what they want to hear. Would you rather me say "Its awesome!"? If you want to improve.. You certainly wouldn't.
I told you what to do, Get rid of the black lines, for outlines use darker versions of the inside colour/s and for the lines representing edges at the front, make them a lighter colour then the inside colour/s. I've told you to make it less square, which you should do, get rid of the different light sources, and decide on one, make the circles isometric and give it detailed shading.
I said all that, and your saying all I did was say its rubbish?
I'm trying to help, and some of these other jackasses (Isaac for example) are not helping you by saying stuff like "dont listen to xero", basically what he's saying is "don't listen to critisism", which is just stupid. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I just want to help make you a better artist.

    To Serjj -
Yes your right, I wasn't a good artist when I started out. You know how I improved? I improved by listening to other peoples critisism, not by listening to the people saying "its perfect" and "10/10". Critisism is the most helpful thing when your trying to improve at something, and i really believe that people would rather improve then not. If you don't think that, your a dead set idiot :\ As you said Serjj, he's given it an effort, and with some tweaking, it could be nice. All I'm telling him is how to tweak it. Your just sitting there telling him to tweak it. Can you say "unhelpful".

    To Isaac -
    Don't think I'll bother with you .

Live for what you believe in.. Die fighting for it.

it may be harsh but xero is right, we all gotta listen to the people who know what they are talking about and xero is one of the best, he didnt just say that ur work was rubbish, but if he had sed that ur work was great would it motivate u to prove him wrong? i think not...
when i started out pixel drawing i didnt have anyone to critisize me so i never progresssed till i actully started to show other people what i had done and they gave me tips on how to make it better, yes i got a few "its ****" but u gotta listen to everything else they say, more often than not if they are a good pixel artist they will know what they are on about.

andyways im just rambling now but i think u probs got my point! lol

Xero, I agree, criticism is the best way to learn. However, comments such as "I suggest you take up something other than pixelling" and "I'm not even gunna bother rating" are pretty hurtful things to say. If you were just starting out, you wouldn't want people to tell you to give up. You would want them to criticise (like you did) and tell how to improve (also, like you did).
I agree with you on the fact that you need criticism to learn, but comments such as the above are uncalled for.
