There are only about a dozen, if your lucky, people on this forum who give CC and have enough knowledge to back that up. By skipping over my replies to every thread you are only reading the mindless comments that are just like "Good work 8/10"
"looking nice 9/10" etc.
These comments aren't going to help you make the piece better and make it actually deserve a high rating/good comment. All the CC that I give to people is to help them make a better piece of art and if you can't handle that then I have no idea why the hell you post.

If I recall, i once give you some CC on a sports hall you did and you didn't understand my comment before I edited your work.

Here's a handy tip. Don't edit peoples alts without their permission. You're just asking to be flamed, especially when you apparently continue to do it. I wouldn't say the comments are mindless, the alt is good, it's a shame some people with their over-inflated egos come along and try to make them better. They're equally as good in my opinion, or will I get a stupid comment saying "No, mine is better for the simple fact I made it."

The piece didn't need to get any better, it was find the way it was? And if people like it, they don't need to criticise (unlike some members who appear to be out for a cheap argument over something trivial :rolleyes.

Look at the previous comment you made, you just editted it aswell as criticised. You gave him no time to do his own?

Anyway, ignoring the critic. It's good, I don't recall if I posted in this thread before. But it is a good piece. 9/10

I don't need permission to edit people's art for CC. That is 100% within my rights.
The reason I used an image to show what I meant is because
1) I had a fair amount of information there and it would have been hard to understand.
2) last time I gave this guy CC he wanted an image to show what i meant.

From a pixel artists perspective several things needed work:
eg. the inside panels wouldn't all be the one colour as some would not be in contact with the lightsource, others would have a shadow on them from an opposing panel.
And the face edge is so light (It's grey where the faces are black coloured) it would only be this way if it was a the edges had a grey trim.
Also in my edit i did enough things differently so that Acid could use the CC i provided and still create a moderately different piece of art.
However if you can't take CC I don't know why your posting. There's only a slim chance someone will actually reply with Constructive comments and you still intend to throw it in their face when they're just trying to help.

Also: When I edit someone's work with the CC I formed (I've only done that like twice) I change things enough so that they could put all the CC into work and still have their own piece of art. (Things like changing colours and positions - Unnecessary but it helps differ the two pieces)

Maybe all the black lines is how he intended it, also if he wanted a lighter grey, he would have picked a litter shade. N e way, i think its good so +rep from me

I had a go at improving it as to me it is not as good as people have been saying. It was hard to explain without a picture.

Things that I fixed:
I changed the colour for the simple fact that I already had a good grey/silver pallet.

- Face edges have been adjusted to be a closer colour to the surface
- changed 4 sides into one big frame
- Less black lines (In the inward corners, keypad, card input, screen etc.)
- Added more tones to better suit the light source (Dark where light would not reach, getting darker as shadow is created etc.) on the inside.
- Cleaned up the messyness of the 'cards accepted' panel (Also made colours less harsh) and the 'card input' panel.
- Added shading to the keys on the keypad and the text on the screen.
- Gave it a shadow.

Now you may disagree with some of these criticisms but many of them, in my opinion add to a better piece of art.

That's not criticism... That how you editted it. Criticism would of been:

You've basically just destroyed the point of someone doing their own work?

Granted he asked for an image to show what you meant last time, but you don't have to do it everytime, it's still nice to ask? This didn't need an image, it was simple enough as it is. I could understand that?

Lets not cause an argument which involves 3 points of views.

The way I saw it, the criticism wasn't mainly criticism, I saw more of a "Ekalb" version of the alt, than construction criticism.

it's not even worth you or me posting if your not going to take CC.
What I gave is CC but it was in the form of a comparal.
if you want to know my real opinion it is that the old disobeys many rules of tones/shading/shadow andthe panels on the inside are a complete mess.
And yes gommen I did create an "ekalb' version of the graphic so that acid could take in the CC and create an "Acid" version of it.

I already made an acid version of it... thats what I posted moron. I didnt steal it, I made it, meaning its mine. I dont like you or your alts and now you know that maybe youll think twice about re-doing mine and posting them in my thread... Maybe you should of thought about wether you were gnna get flamed for it before even bothering to post in he first place then I wouldnt have to close my thread which has gotten a very good rating from the people who I am bothered about... (everyone but you.)
