but yeah as some said, an old teacher who survived the holocaust wedged his body up against the door so his students could jump out the window but the killer then killed him.. which was sad >.<

I think it was the 8th Aniversary of the columbine massacre and that has something to do with it. He also took the hammer and gun to head pose from a violent movie created in South Korea.

He found his (ex)girlfriend in bed with another guy and then got 'revenge' later by shooting her. A student ran in after hearing a banging and as Cho (killer) realised he witnessed the crime he killed him in cold blood, wrong place, wrong time. I assume at this point he realised he was going down for a long, long time (pre-meditaded murder) and basically went on a killing spree. During the mysterious two hours all that is known is he posted a film to a news station. Why the news station didn't alert police to who they were chasing is a mystery to me.

He then proceded to fire more than 27 shots (as someone has already said he fired 27) as every person that was shot had 3+ bullets in them, as confirmed by a doctor, and he killed 30 people in this spree. When he entered one of the buildings, Norris Hall if I remember, he chained all the doors closed so hostages couldn't escape. Police first saw him when he approached a window and then walked away.

He was described as having 'an un-godly amount of ammunition'. I suppose he was ready for a long stand-off. He seemed to have something wrong as he did have an imaginary girlfriend after his rejection.

He came from a 'well-off' family, his sister was a Princeton graduate, mother and father were well respected members of the Virginia community. He was described as a nice boy, but slightly strange.

What gets me is how a person could bring themselves to commit such an atrocity coming from a good background and a good life. He came equipped with 2 pistols and 2 daggers in a backpack.

And thats my two cents over and done with. I wrote most from memory so forgive me if its incorrect or there is new information.

Can someone please give me an article that said he had and killed an ex-girlfriend? Ive been following this since it happened, and I have heard absolutely nothing about a girlfriend other than on here. He did it because he was an immature person who hated rich kids.

And the Columbine anniversary is today, so it had nothing to do with that. It's just a coincidence that its on the same week.

I find it horrible that there is someone as mad and lonely as this that can kill so many people and then kill himself.
