I decided to go and see it today instead, couldn't wait! The film was excellent! If I wasn't sitting next to, behind and in front of a bunch of ***** I would have enjoyed it alot more though.

Also, The Fantastic Four 2 looks amazing! I hadn't seen the trailer yet apart from the teaser one.

i liked it, i knew he would defeat sand man with water, didnt predict that he'd come back tho
could've been a bit shorter, cut down on some of the romance parts, sure its nice, but the action bits are better.
Lighten up a bit. I'm sure it didn't have spoilers when i looked. I wouldn't miss that. I'm a big spiderman fan myself so i would see the spoilers and know what i'm talking about.

Went to see it with a friend yesterday, I thought it was the best Spiderman movie so far imo, dunno if it's because I only saw this one in cinema but meh. I loved how there was like 3 villains, counting the alien creature. SPIDEY GOES EMOO Pretty funny parts in it.

Yeah, some parts were a tad predictable for me as well. Still a good movie for me though

I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong I though it was really good, but the first two surpass it in quality.

The film was about half an hour too long, and it got quite ridiculous in the middle. The "I'm a bad boy act" was funny, but not in the way it was supposed to be. I was laughing out of the fact it was just so pathetic. And it completely ruined the intensity of when he hit Mary-Jane. I think it was this middle section which kind of dragged the rest down--the start and the end were fantastic.

I am concerned about Tobey Maguire's growing inability to act. I thought he was good in the first two films, and excellent in Seabiscuit, but his lack of range is starting to show.

Topher Grace was great, Kirsten Dunst was pretty good, the guy who played the Sandman was awful.

Oh, and the script wasn't all that brilliant. There were some really awful/cheesy lines in there. Plus, I was far too close to the screen.

Thomas Haden Church played Sandman. He trained for over a year to play the part.
