IM SAYING CUT THE TORTURE NOT THE SLAUGTER
Bwahhahahaha
Ahh this thread is funny, animal rights people who don't have a clue what they're talking about, and anti- animal rights who also don't have a clue..
Priceless..
But i'll stay out of this argument as I don't want to ruin my rep over the internet![]()
But how can you justify that. Get me if im wrong, but it is the humans who made up this "natural preditor" theory.I think that we as humans (and therefore natural predators) have the perfect and natural right to kill for food. Our diets are far more balanced in terms of meat intake now than, say, the Edwardian period, and in fact we're doing pretty well. There's no need to cut down.
COS A SED SO RITE.
McDonalds and Burger King ftw
Oh yah, on discussion...
Some of those pics on the site were horridThanks for that.

rofl so you believe that we evolved to have teeth and organs capable of eating and digesting meat easily just for the fun of it?
Also, in your previous post, you seem to be suggesting the possibility that someone other than a human could come up with a theory. Do enlighten me as to who, other than humans, has ever come up with any theories?
I was gonna say that how can you deny that we are predators? We catch and kill animals. Isn't that being a predator?
I told myself not to get into this...rofl so you believe that we evolved to have teeth and organs capable of eating and digesting meat easily just for the fun of it?

but OMNIVORE.. can mean, most of meat, a little of vegetables, or a little of meat and most vegetables, etc etc.
Some theorise that our teeth (which are pretty pathetic for ripping through raw meat) were designed as a survival mechanism for when vegetation was scarce: thus we ate other animals and coincidentally to most meat tasted nice and became a common delicacy. You're also going upon the theory that nature intends for things to happen.
Animals can theorise to some aspect too, where apes opening doors and using team work (note: theese weren't trained animals in the experiment) but they learnt to work as a team to open the door to get to the food: thus some theorising must have taken place to trigger the reaction to work as a team, this is all on a primal level though but to assume that only humans have a consciousness is arrogant to say the least.
Also in an earlier post you mentioned that animals have pain as a survival mechanism, yes that's true, but so do we and alas pain is pain, it hurts, a fish can feel more pain than a human because of the higher sensitive nerves.
You say humans have a higher understanding of pain but when it comes down to your life being threatened you revert to the same primal instinct to either fight or flee.
As the yanks say: my two cents :eusa_whis
