Good decision imo. I have heard of very few successful account trades, and the ones that are successful at the time usually had the accounts hacked back. Lots more people were moaning that it was allowed too, so this will keep the majority happy. Hopefully

personally, i agree with the revision of the rules regarding account trading.

to those who are complaining - it might be against the rules to make a thread publically selling an account, but theres nothing to stop you privately selling an account either through PM or any other method of communication.

since the rules got changed to allow account trading, the number of scams, and the number of "omg this person skemmed me!!!1!11!!11!" has increased, you can't deny it, its plastered all over.

added to the fact that threads made by people selling accounts were beginning to spam up the trading section, making it more difficult for people doing either rs-rs or rs-habbo trades to get their thread seen and to get people looking at and/or posting on them.

the revision of the rules won't necessarily cut out all the scammers, but in my opinion it will reduce the number of scams taking place.

You say scams have increased well thats obvious, if you made it illegal to sell members pins and habbo stuff scams would go down aswell there are good and bad sides to every off game trade not just accounts.

And with the pm thing, how in the world will we know who is interested in buying an acc, we cant just randomly pm every1 on the forum

Thank god..All the scamming reports were starting to get seriously stupid..Noticed since this rule was set I've actually recieved less reports :rolleyes:

On the poll it was like 8 against it being removed and 31 for it being removed, it's clearly better, less arguements less spam etc. And if your that bothered about it being removed go to another site, 10x better like this.
